Master Engraver
Free Comprehensive Engraving Lessons. Free is good. Help Master Engraver Steve Olin, save the rare skill of Authentic Engraving using traditional tools like the hammer and chisel and push burin. The overhead to get started in this art-based business is economical. The hand and eye coordination to learn the hammer and chisel tradition are easy, but take a little effort to master, but not that much. Learn to engrave guns, jewelry, musical instruments, rare and valuable parts in need of engraving restoration, medallions, love tokens, coins, custom car and motorcycle parts and on and on. Master Engravers Bill Mains and Lynton McKenzie taught Steve and he is giving back to you at no cost. Steve wants to offer a good opportunity to learn. A good work ethic, ambition, consistent practice and safety awareness around weapons like knives and sharp chisels are essential. So many are taking shortcuts by allowing a machine to get in between them and their art the demand by collectors for authenticity using the hammer and chisel is great.
